Syangja, October 19:

Parents and relatives of a woman, who was found dead in her husband’s house on Tuesday, staged a protest here yesterday.

Accusing the in-laws of involvement in the killing of Meena Kumari GT (18) of Lampata and seeking action against the guilty, they took Meena’s body round the Syangja bazaar.

Based on an FIR filed by Meena’s parents, the police had arrested in-laws Gobardhan GT and Jayasara on Wednesday.

Meena had gone to her husband’s house on October 8 to receive Dashain tika. She was found hanging from the ceiling of a room, relatives said.
