Envoys meet foreign minister

Newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ramesh Nath Pandey, today held meetings with Tsutomu Hiraoka, Valery V Nazarov, Michael Joliivet, Hw-ang Yong Hwan, the admassadors of Japan, Russian Federation, France and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea respectively, at the latter’s office, a press statement issued by the Ministry said.
Charge de Affaires at the European Commission Delegation in Nepal, Eduardo Jimenez, also paid a courtesy call on the foreign minister this afternoon. According to the Ministry, the current situation in the country and matters of bilateral interests were discussed in separate meetings. The envoys hoped the bilateral relations between Nepal and the respective countries and organisations would further strengthen in the time ahead, the statement added.
