Australian actor Hugh Jackman, who was recently bestowed with ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ status by the People magazine, is facing an uncomfortable situation as the title has created tension between actor and his old-fashioned father.

The X-Men actor discovered the uneasy truth while travelling with his family from Australia

to America. And he cringes when he recalls the instant his dad discovered his face on the magazine cover, contactmusic reported.

Jackman says, “My old man travelled over with me and we landed in America... and all of sudden we were stopped at the airport and saw the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ magazine and everyone is talking about it. My father found it really uncomfortable and he said to me, ‘I can’t really talk to you about being sexy. It’s a little weird.’ Mind you, I’m still waiting for the birds and the bees pitch from him.
