Sankhuwasabha, December 15:
CPN-Maoist has invited political parties active in the district for an alliance.
Organising a press conference in Khandbari, Sankhuwasabha district headquarters, the party today urged the parties not to cry for the return of land and property seized from the ‘feudalists’.
In a press statement, the Maoists also regretted that the political parties were looking for excuses to target them. CPN-Maoist district secretary Rajendra Karki alias Nabin alleged that Nepali Congress and CPN-UML were with the feudalists and against the landless tillers.
The Maoists have put certain conditions for an alliance with the parties.
The party said integration of the Maoist combatants was necessary for statute-drafting and restoring peace in the country.
