Birgunj, December 16:

Constituent Assembly member of the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Atma Ram Shah on Tuesday claimed that his party would somehow have the agenda of ‘One Madhes, One Pradesh’ fulfilled.

Addressing a press meet, Shah alleged that the leaders, who joined the party overnight after the Madhes stir, were misguiding people on the issue.

The remarks of Minister for Physical Planning and Works Bijay Gachhadar, who is also the parliam entary party leader of the MJF, on ‘One Madhes, One Pradesh’ slogan have

triggered controversy within the party.

Speaking at a programme on Saturday, Gachhadar had said the demand for ‘One Madhes, One Pradesh’ had become irrelevant in the present context. Shah said the issue would be discussed in the party meeting. — HNS
