NC leader and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Wednesday congratulated Barak Obama on assuming the office as the 44th President of the United States of America. Deuba, in a statement, said that Obama’s leadership would help the USA progress and prosper and build a world view in support of democracy. He also expressed hope that relations between the USA and Nepal would enhance during Obama’s presidency. — HNS
