Birgunj, February 1:

Birgunj based Terai Television today condemned the police intervention upon its reporter Anil Ojha and cameraman Naresh Raj Kharel on Saturday night.

According to TTV statement, the duo was intervened when they were on their way to collect news at National Medical College, Birgunj on Friday night. Ojha and Kharel, who were injured in the police intervention, are undergoing treatment.

The police seized camera and tripod worth Rs 4 lakhs which have not been returned, said TTV.

It has urged all media houses, FNJ, civil society and professional organisations to protest against the attack.
