Barbara Tuchman:Learning from experience is a faculty almost never practiced

By Rishi Singh

The Cold The summer days are gone So has the scorching sun There are no clouds in the sky And, so no more rain.

There’s a chill in the morning The air is crisp The days are shorter And the nights longer.

Winter is here Mild sun in the sky It gets dark sooner And towards home birds fly.

Snow capped mountains are very high There is no snowfall in Kathmandu, why?

After a long day’s toll, we all sigh And with the shivering chill, poor nestlings die.
