KATHMANDU:

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Monday said

that it had found several irregularities in the Chamati Land Integration Project in Naya Bazaar.

The CIAA also directed the Kathmandu Metropolitan City to focus its attention on the approval of maps for constructing houses since many people had constructed houses without the approval of the KMC in the area.

It also added that the government had faced a loss of millions of rupees in the project due to the lack of proper monitoring. — HNS
