Knightley runs for life, and from stampeding cows

LONDON: British actress Keira Knightley had to run for her life during a stroll in the English countryside, when a stampeding herd of cattle threatened to trample her to death.

The actress was on a break between scenes on the set of the movie The Duchess when the cattle went berserk, reports contactmusic.com. “I went for a walk where we were staying and I turned around and an entire herd of cows were running at me down a hill. I’ve never run so fast in my life. I actually managed to vault this incredibly high stone wall,” she said. “Death by cow would be a really bad way to go. They weren’t even bulls, they were dairy cows,” she quipped.
