The general assembly of the Nepal English Language Teacher’s Association (NELTA) has formed a new executive committee for the next two years.
The committee includes Prof Dr Govinda Raj Bhattarai as president, Ganga Ram Gautam as vice-president, Laxman Gnawali as general secretary, Hemanta Raj Dahal as secretary, Kamal Poudel as member secretary and Dr Bal Mukunda Bhandari as treasurer.
Similarly, Dr Lav Deo Awasthi, Dr Krishna Chandra Sharma, Lekh Nath Sharma Pathak, Sarita Dewan and Arjun Neupane are the members of the new committee.
The committee was formed at the concluding session of a three-day event of the tenth International Conference of NELLTA held at Jawalakhel.
Over 300 delegates from Nepal, India,Tthailand, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Bangladesh and Japan participated in the conference.
The theme of the conference was Learner Autonomy in Large Classes.
