The conflict-hit former security personnel today warned of staging strong protests if the government failed to address their demands at the earliest.

The conflict-hit army and police personnel in Ghorahi warned of intense protests if the government failed to meet their four-point demand by April 8.

Their demands include unconditional reinstatement, providing salary and allowance for the period they were out of their jobs, providing compensation to the families of those injured and killed during insurgency and promotion to all who had quit service during the conflict period.
