KATHMANDU: The standing committee meeting of the ruling CPN-UML thursday decided to send a new team for the Unified CPN-Maoist-UML Joint Mechanism. Party general secretary Ishwor Pokharel told this daily that he himself, Secretary Shankar Pokharel and Surendra Pandey will be representing the Maoist-UML Joint Mechanism. Earlier, it was Madhav Kumar Nepal who was the leader of the CPN-UML team in the joint mechanism.
