New Road Festival 2060 organised on the auspicious occasion of 33rd birthday of Crown Prince Paras concluded on January 4 in Durbar Square, New Road. The programme was organised by New Road Samaj Sudhar in association with Annapurna Post. The programme comprised a grand open cultural-cum-concert programme. People from all walks of life participated in the programme.

Various singers such as Dhiraj Rai, Nalina Chitrakar, Sarisma Amatya, Sanjeep Pradhan, Nima Rumba performed their solo number in the concert and various cultural ethnic dances were also performed.

Hundreds of youth were seen singing and dancing, enjoying the charm of the magical moment. The programme lasted till late evening.

Dhiraj Rai shared, “Music is for recreation and entertainment. Such programmes make me happier as I get an opportunity to come closer to the youth.” Nalina Chitrakar, famous singer and performer in the programme stated that the programme was a huge success.

Sanjay Tandukar, a visitor at the festival who was enjoying the programme shared, “Such programmes will help improve internal tourism.”

Mahesh Manandhar, member of New Road Samaj Sudhar informed, “This event is to raise awareness to motivate youth to the right path.”
