KATHMANDU: Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Janardan Sharma on Friday invited the Tharuhat Joint Struggle Committee (TJSC) for a dialogue. Issuing a statement, Sharma said the government was ready to address the demands put forth by TJSC and also to to implement the 6-point agreement reached with the agitating Tharus. According to Sharma, it had been hard to address the demands owing to the the disturbance in the parliament. The government has tabled a bill to address the TJSC demands. A taskforce to do the groundwork for implementing the agreements is said to be in the offing.
