GORKHA: Two persons were killed when they were struck by lightning in Kharibot VDC-1 of Gorkha Saturday night. The deceased have been identified as Thapanath Poudel and Prem Maya Saplota. Meanwhile, Lekh Kumar Poudel of Chhoprak VDC was critically injured when lightning struck him in a separate incident on Saturday afternoon. Five goats were also killed by the lightning.
