Acid attack HONG KONG: Two bottles of acid were thrown into a crowd on a popular downtown shopping district in Hong Kong on Saturday, injuring 30 people, according to police and news reports. Television footage showed firefighters washing off victims’ arms and legs before sending them to hospitals for treatment. Police Superintendent Leung Ka-ming said 30 people were hurt. — AP
