MAKWANPUR: A seven-year-old daughter of Shiva Hari Adhikari was killed in a fire on Friday morning at Bajrabarahi-5.

The incident occurred when the house caught fire owing to an electrical short circuit. The deceased, Pragya Adhikari, was sleeping in her house while her parents out. According to secretary of Bajrabarahi-5 Kedar Bahadur Joshi property worth Rs. 8 lakhs was destroyed in the fire. The fire was later brought under control by the Nepal Army and the Nepal Police.
