Arjun Rijal, Prem Subba and Bijay Subba scored two goals each as Mechi Municipality blanked Triyuga Municipality 7-0 in the day’s match of the Birendra Memorial Inter-municipality Regional Football Tournament, here today. Anil Subba also scored for the winning team. In Damauli, Krishna Shrestha scored twice as Ram Gram Municipality beat Putali Bazaar Municipality 4-1 and Siddhartha Municipality earned walkover from Rupandehi Municipality. For Ram Gram, Krishma Sharma netted a goal and Rekh Bahadur Gurung of Putali Bazaar scored a suicide goal. Sandeep Thapa scored a consolation goal for the losing team. In Nepalgunj, Tribhuvan Nagar Municipality of Dang beat Birendra Nagar Municipality of Surkhet 3-1 at Mahendra Stadium. Dipendra Pun, Kamal Rokka and Mahesh Chhetri scored for Tribhuvan Nagar, while Rabindra Chand scored a consolation goal for Birendra Nagar.

Meanwhile, David Fall Youth Club of Pokhara entered the semi-finals of the second Sangam Cup Knock-out Football Tournament with a 2-0 victory over Kaji Pokhari Club in Pokhara, today.
