KATHMANDU: First Chinese private hospital in the capital will start functioning in New Baneshwor on Sunday. It aims to strengthen the relationship between the two neighbours. Addressing a press conference in the capital, Dr Manoj Man Shrestha, honorary president of the hospital, said the hospital was established with an investment of Rs 8 crore. Dr Shrestha said the hospital had 50 beds and patients could get Chinese health facilities, including acupuncture. The hospital is providing 24-hour emergency facilities with ICU service. The hospital will provide free check-up services for one week to mark its opening. The hospital will provide free health services to the poor. Wang Dao Sheng, managing director of the hospital, said the establishment of hospital would strengthen the relationship between the two neighbouring countries.
