The Kavre District Administration Office (DAO) has gained ground in upgrading the issuance of citizenship certificates. The office has developed related software and also has a plan to include old data. So far, 5000 citizenships have been inserted in the computer. Although, the government directory requires all offices to get computer-savvy, the Kavre office is the first to initiate computerisation of necessary documents. According to CDO, Aambhu Koirala, statistics gleaned by using the modern technique is more reliable than traditional paperwork.
