Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) showcased Nepal’s tourism industry and areas of special attractions, in the 19th MATTA International Travel Fairs (MITF) held at Kuala Lumpur from March 11-13. In order to reposition Nepal’s destination image and bolster the country’s efforts to bring in more Malaysian tourists to Nepal, NTB interacted with and addressed thousands of curios Malaysian’s queries and other travel-related concerns right at the venue.
An overall survey showed that Malaysians are interested in sampling the beauty associated with the Himalayan range with which Nepal is abundantly blessed. This has been one of its unique selling propositions across the world traditionally.
The craze for the Himalayas was apparent as the majority of people wishing to travel to Nepal focused on the issue. However, safety and security was a topic of concern for all the visitors who visited the Nepal stall, states a NTB press release issued here today.
All the necessary publicity materials meant to inform and entice prospective travellers were distributed during the fair. The MTTA fair is a premier travel fair and an established platform for meaningful interaction between travel and tourism industry and prospective consumers.
