KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Qui Guohong today called on Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala and expressed concern about the anti-China activities in Nepal. The Chinese envoy also expressed concern about the meeting of some of the Constituent Assembly members with exiled Tibetan leader, the Dalai Lama. In his meeting with the foreign minister and foreign secretary Gyan Chandra Acharya, Guohong expressed confidence that Nepal would give continuity to its one-China policy. Meanwhile, the government has beefed up security around the Chinese embassy and the offices of other Chinese diplomatic missions, in view of possible protest to celebrate the 74th birthday of the Dalai Lama.
