60 sewing machines gifted

KATHMANDU: All China Women’s Federation on Friday handed over 60 sewing machines to the Royal Nepalese Army Officers’ Wives’ Association to support the organisation’s effort in providing skill development training to widows of soldiers who died while fighting against the Maoists. Chinese ambassador’s wife Wang Lanping handed over the machines to Kamala Thapa, the chairperson of the association at a function at the Tribhuvan Army Club. — HNS
