LALITPUR: Birendra Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya (BSAM) and Man Singh Dharma High School on Friday qualified for the final round of the Coca-Cola Inter-school National Football Tournament. Anup Subedi scored four goals as BSAM thrashed Bal Kumari Higher Secondary School 7-0 at the ANFA Technical Centre. Roshan Rai opened the scoring in the third minute before Anup completed his hat-trick scoring in the 29th, 49th and 56th minute. Roshan scored his second and team’s fifth goal in the 58th minute before Ujjwol Tiwari made it 6-0 in the 65th minute. Anup then scored his fourth goal in the 76th minute. In the other match, Man Singh Dharma outplayed Arunodaya High School 4-0, riding on two goals each from Anil Shrestha and Nischal Sapkota. Anil scored the firs two goals in the 16th and 26th minutes to go into the break with 2-0 lead. Nischal struck twice in the second half scoring in the 54th and 79th minutes. A total of 12 teams qualified from various regions will fight for the championship. Four teams qualified from Kathmandu will be joined by three from Biratnagar, two teams from Kaski and one each from Banke, Kailali and Rupandehi. The organisers, All Nepal Football Association, are yet to announce the dates of the final round.
