Kathmandu, March 22:
A police team from the Narcotic Drug Control Law Enforcement Unit, New Baneshwor, yesterday arrested a Nigerian national with 600 grammes of white and two Indians with 585 grammes of brown heroin. According to the police, Emeka Sabastian Ojoko (passport number A2718377) was arrested the heroin from the Tribhuvan International Airport during a regular check up at the airport. Police official said Ojoka was shceduled to leave for Uganda via Abu Dhabi (UAE) through Golf Air’s flight number 407.
Ojoko had hidden the contraband in 60 plastic-wrapped capsules inside two speakers of a sterio sound system. Meanwhile, police team from the same unit yesterday arrested two Indian nationals with 585 grammes of brown heroin. Jitendra Kumar Nayak, 21, and Kumar Sah, 30, were arrested from outside Bir Hospital where they were waiting for customers. Nayak hails from Sitamadi of Bihar whereas Sah is from Bairgania.
