Tunnel found LAMJUNG: A tunnel was found while constructing a septic tank for a toilet in Yam Bahadur Gurung’s land in Ghermu VDC of Lamjung on Saturday. Local Khadga Gurung said that the tunnel was two feet wide and three feet high. The tunnel is quite long but the length could not be estimated as it was very dark, he said. The locals speculated that the tunnel may be the ancient ruins of the Ghale or Shah kings who had ruled Lamjung at the time of the Baise-Chaubise states. The tunnel looks like a drainage system and is covered with stone slabs, the locals said. —RSS
