CHITWAN: Finance Minister Surendra Pandey on Wednesday said the debate over reopening the hotels inside the Chitwan National Park would end soon. Talking to mediapersons at Bharatpur airport, he said the dialogue over the dispute had been advancing positively. Pandey coordinates the committee formed to end the hotel row. With the end of the last fiscal, seven hotels and resorts inside the CNP were closed as their contract was not renewed. The minister said it was being deliberated whether to allow the existing hotels to run or to seek a fresh bid. Speaking separately, Pandey said the government was committed to controlling black marketeering.
