KATHMANDU: Shankar Sharma, former vice-chairman of National Planning Commission and Rukma Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana, former president of the Nepal Olympic Committee were confirmed as the ambassador to the United States and India respectively. The Parliamentary Public Hearing Committee confirmed Sharma and Rana unanimously on Thursday after no complaints were filed against them.
