Rayal Merchant profit KATHMANDU: Royal Merchant Banking and Finance has posted Rs 23.4 million profit in the fiscal year 2008-09. According to a press release, the finance company has collected Rs 1.13 billion in deposits and floated Rs 1.1 billion loan. The finance company is planning to issue 1:1 right shares to increase its capital. — HNS UFL’s Teej scheme KATHMANDU: United Finance Ltd to mark the Teej Festival has launched its Teej Special Scheme. According to the press statement issued, the company has offered 50 per cent in service charge and one per cent discount in existing interest rate for all loan during the month of Bhadra for female loan applicants. — HNS Eclipse features KATHMANDU: Eclipse Learning Pvt Ltd, executive partner of Franklin Covey & DOOR Training for Nepal and Bhutan entered in its fourth year of service. The company has been organizing various trainings like 'The 7 Habit for Managers' and "Evolution to Management' since 2006 and has trained over 1,000 professionals from 85 companies in Nepal. — HNS Third party insurance KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs (FNNTE), releasing a press statement informed about the insurance policy 2066 BS being effective from September 1. The new fiscal year budget has allocated insurance amount of Rs five lakh for third party insurance and its implementation from August 17. FNNTE has also insisted all the transport entrepreneurs to clear the additional premium amount till August 31. — HNS Rights shares listed KATHMANDU: The rights shares of Standard Finance Ltd were listed at Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (Nepse) on Monday, the company said. As per its press statement, the finance company has allocated 83,49,000 unites of shares in 1:5 ratio to shareholders and those shares can be merchandised at Nepse immediately. — HNS Honour for FHAN KATHAMANDU: Pushkar Man Shakya, president of Federation of Handicraft Association of Nepal (FHAN) has been chosen vice-president of World Craft Council, Asia Pacific Region. According to a press statement, the 32nd World Craft Council, Asia Pacific Region Seminar is scheduled from October 1-7 at Hamadan, Iran. World Craft Council aims to promote and preserve art, craft and heritages.
