DHANUSA: Activists of UCPN-Maoist shut Janakpur Bazaar on Wednesday protesting the murder of one of its cadre, Birendra Raya Amatya. Amatya was killed on Monday in a clash that erupted when a meeting held to organise the celebration in Shiva Mandir in Kushmaha turned violent. Transportation, educational institutions and industries have failed to operate due to bandh. The police have arrested one person accused of Amatya’s murder.
