Kathmandu: After its sell out tour in Australia, heartthrobs of the Nepali pop music world, 1974 AD, is gearing up to rock the capital. The band, after its promotional tour and their spectacular shows in Sydney and Melbourne, is set to stage a concert at La’ Soon restaurant, Pulchowk on April 1. Manose Singh, a renowned bamboo flute player, will also accompany the band.
Manose Singh, who stays in San Francisco, flew to Sydney to accompany the band for their recent shows in Australia. His rock and roll solo flute riffs were no less talked about. And this time, 1974 AD fans will have yet another rare event to enjoy, as all the band members are playing together. Denizens of capital will definitely love to have this breathtaking encounter with the flute maestro.
The much-awaited performance will begin at 7 pm that is expected to showcase unreleased instrumentals along with old favourites and the wonders of Manose’s flute. The performance will be followed by a sumptuous buffet with dessert and coffee. —HNS
