RAJBIRAJ: "Who will care me in the old age as my only beloved daughter was killed?" lamented Sushila Devi Singh, mother of slain journalist Uma Singh. "My husband and son disappeared four years ago. Uma was my only support and they killed her brutally too," aggrieved Sushila Devi said at a programme of Mechi-Mahakali Journalism Award ceremony, organised by FNJ, Saptari. The Maoists have been accused for the disappearance while the killers of Singh are not yet known. Mechi-Mahakali Media Society honoured Singh posthumously. Society's central vice-chairman, Baidhanath Jha, handed over the award and NPR 10,001 in cash to Sushila at the function.
