KATHMANDU: Creating yet another panic, an impoverished explosive device was found planted close to the private residence of Vice President-elect Paramananda Jha in Gaurighat on Monday afternoon. A joint bomb disposal squad of Nepali Army and Armed Police Force defused the explosive device identified as a socket bomb. According to police, the bomb was found in a bare land in front of Jha's residence. It is yet to be known whether the explosive device was planted of late.
