KATHMANDU: Cash and property worth nearly one lakh rupees were stolen from two houses in Kathmandu on Tuesday, police said.

Property worth Rs 75,000 was stolen from the house of Rosa Sapkota in Mandikhatar on Tuesday. Some unidentified person(s) made off with the loot — two cameras and jewellery — when family members were away, the police said, adding that jewellery worth Rs 8,000

and cash amounting to Rs 1,500 was also stolen from the house of Dwarika Manandhar
