KATHMANDU: The Newar community observed Bhai Tika, the last day of Tihar on Tuesday, while others had celebrated on Monday. Naresh Bir Shakya, secretary of Nepal Bhasa Manka Khala said they celebrated it as per the lunar calendar. Some Newar clans celebrated the festival on Monday, he added.
