BIRATNAGAR: Employees working in local bodies have warned of agitation if their demands are not addressed in time. The employees made this remark at a regional gathering in Biratnagar on Monday. The demands of of the employees call for treatment par other civil servants. Hiralal Yadav, central member of Nepal Municipality Employees Association said that the government had deferred their demands earlier. "We will protest in case they are not implemented," Yadav warned.Some 5, 000 employees in the local bodies await permanent job guarantee.
