BHOJPUR: A group led by Akkar Khadka, district chairman of ANNFSU, thrashed district secretary of YCL Sishir Timalsina here in the district headquarters on Wednesday. Timalsina, who sustained injury on his head, is undergoing treatment at the District Hospital. Police said they detained Khadka for investigation. The incident took place despite prohibitory orders of the local administration in the area.CDO Baburam Khatiwada informed that the administration had imposed indefinite curfew in the district headquarter from 6 am. The administration has urged the locals to refrain from untoward activities. ANNFSU has been protesting the attack Bhojpur Campus Chief Parvat Kumar Rai by Maoists students. Bhojpur DSP Achyut Pudasaini informed that security had been beefed up in the area. Issuing a press release, district assistant secretary of UCPN-Maoist urged all the stakeholders to solve the dispute through dialogue.
