The first convention of the Mechi-Mahakali media society (MMMS) concluded here today. Earlier, inaugurating the convention, chief of CIAA Suryanath Upadhaya said courageous people with clean image are never afraid of anyone. He felicitated senior journalist of Dang Narayan Prasad Sharma for his 30 years’ contribution to the field of journalism. Central president of the Press Chautari Nepal Shambhu Shrestha, president of the National Union of Journalists Tej Prakash Pandit, former president of the Nepal Press Union Kulchandra Wagle, vice-presidents of FNJ Badri Binod Pratik and Gopal Budhathoki wished for the success of the convention. Central member of FNJ Suman Dahal and press advisor to the CIAA, Achut Wagle, presented their papers. Coordinator of the MMMS, Madhav Sharma, presided the programme.
