BAGLUNG: Expressing solidarity with the Maoists, chief of cottage and small scale industry development committee Arjun Poudel participated in the DAO gherao programme on Wednesday. Poudel said,’’ I support the Maoists as they have been working for the welfare of the civil servants.’’ Poudel is also a central member of UCPN-M affiliated Nepal National Staffers Association. Meanwhile, service seekers had to return home due to obstruction of the Maoists cadres. Security personnel, however, foiled picketing at DAO Rautahat. Maoist cadres could not reach there as security was beefed up in the area since morning, CDO Dr Kamaleswor Kumar Sinha said.
