DOTI: Though the academic session began seven months ago, students of the government schools in various schools in the district are yet to get their textbooks. Educational activities of most of the primary and lower secondary schools here have been adversely affected due to lack of textbooks. Staffer at Sajha depot Chiranjivi Poudel said that they were tired of asking for books from the supplier. Meanwhile, Prem Bam, an owner of books and stationery shop, said,'' We are tired of answering the students and guardians.'' Students of Doti, Dadeldhura, Accham, Bajura, Bajhang, Baitadi, and Darchula have been facing similar problem every year. Dirga Kathayat, a teacher accused that the problem was a mere result of government's negligence. Students balem the depot for not availing the books. While the depot maintained that they have not got the needed books from the centre.
