RUPANDEHI: Finance minister Surendra Pandey expressed hope that the budget would be passed before the UCPN-Maoist ultimatum expired. Inaugurating a general assembly of business organisations in Butwal on Saturday, he revealed that revenue collection in the first four months of the fiscal year was 50 per cent more than the target. "Rs 6 billion more has been collected," he said. Minister Pandey also said the ministry was preparing to utilise land for economic development.
