UDAYAPUR: Two locals were killed while one was seriously injured in an elephant rampage in Triyuga municipality of Udayapur district at around 2 on Friday morning. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Pashupatinath Dotel, Gyanendra Rai, 30, of Triyuga municipality-12 and Chatur Maya Rai, 65, of Triyuga municipality-8 were killed in the elephant attack. Meanwhile Munal Magar, 8, was seriously injured and is presently undergoing treatment in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan.

Chini Maya Sarki of Basaha VDC was also killed in a similar attack by an elephant few days ago.
