BIRATNAGAR: Despite efforts of agreement, election at the convention of CPN-UML Morang district committee is more than certain. The convention is scheduled for December 4-6. Tough competition between former president Ghanashyam Khatiwoda and acting president Binod Dhakal is the highlight of the convention. Former district secretary Naresh Pokharel said agreement would be sought for till the end. Dhakal said that his groups were for protecting the party while another competitor Khatiwoda said his victory was certain since there was the support of majority of the representatives. 585 representatives have been selected for the convention.
