LALITPUR: Goodwill Ambassadors of Climate Change Campaign for Life — Appa Sherpa and Dawa Sherpa — are busy sharing their experiences in various cities of Europe regarding the impact of climate change in Himalayan region. The Sherpa duo is on a 15-day visit to European cities from November 20 to December 5 to share Nepal’s unique experience on climate change. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) organised the visit. In the United Nations Summit Conference on Climate Change to be held in Copenhagen of Denmark, they will draw the attention of the world community regarding the agendas and concerns of Himalayan region. Communication Officer of the WWF Sanjeev Chaudhari said that the Sherpa mountaineers would spread the message on the climate change in Rome of Italy, Glen of Switzerland, Simony of France, Vienna of Austria, Brussels of Belgium and other cities of Europe.
