THT scribe awarded JANAKPUR: Brij Kumar Yadav, correspondent of the THT, was awarded Saraswati Rajnarayan Award in a programme organised to mark the 24th annual day of Ramananda Youth Club in Janakpur on Sunday. He was felicitated for his contribution in raising the issues of Mithilanchal in national and international level. Nepali Congress leader, Bimalendra Nidhi felicitated and gave away the award to Yadav. The award was established by Saraswati Rajnarayan Trust. This is the second time that Yadav got the award. Superstition kills LAMJUNG: A child of a remote village of the district died on Sunday as she could not be taken to health facility in time. Panchamaya Tamang, 5, of Ilampokhari VDC-5 died in course of treatment at Lamgunj District Community Hospital. She was taken to local Gouda Primary Health Post only after a shaman expressed his inability to treat her in the village. The health post had referred her to the hospital due to her serious condition.
