DHARAN: A meeting of security officials of bordering districts of Nepal and India concluded here today. According to Sunsari CDO Ram Prasad Thapaliya officials of the two countries agreed to curb arms smuggling. Agreement to control border encroachment, counterfeit currency and other criminal activities on the border was also reached, he said. The officials also agreed to exchange information on criminal activities in the area, he added. Arariya District Magistrate, Sarabhanan headed the Indian team while Morang CDO Sashikeshar Shrestha led the Nepali team. Police officers and customs chiefs were part of the Nepali team. CDO Thapaliya said it was a regular meet.
