8,490 pass EPS-KLT

KATHMANDU: As many as 8,490 people passed the sixth Korean Language Test conducted here under the Employment Permit System (EPS) this year.

Total 5,817 candidates have passed the test for employment in South Korea in the production sector while 2,673 passed the test for employment under the agriculture and animal husbandry sector.

All those passing the language test will be eligible for the skills test.

The health examination, collection of the employment application form and skill testing and related works of the people passing the language test will be conducted from November 17.

Detailed information regarding this would be published later on, the EPS Section stated.

Those passing the exam can only fill the employment form after submitting Machine Readable Passport (MRP), police report and medical clearance certificate, according to the Section.

The results can be seen on the office's notice board and the website (www.dofe.gov.np) of the Department of Foreign Employment, Nepal as well as on the website of the Human Resources Department of Korea (www.eps.gov.kr).

Of the total 52,137 applying for the language test, only 43,406 had taken the exam on 19 and 20 September.
