NT takes 3G service to 75 districts

Kathmandu, October 6

Nepal Telecom (NT) has expanded its 3G service to all 75 districts.

NT recently extended the service in Dunai of Dolpa and Simikot of Humla making 3G service available in all districts of the country.

NT had launched the 3G service in 2007. However, the service was available only within the Ring Road of Kathmandu Valley back then.

“With the 3G service reaching all across the country, subscribers can experience smooth internet and data facilities,” NT has said.

Meanwhile, NT has announced attractive data packages for CDMA and GSM mobile subscribers targeting Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, under which users can get 1MB data at just seven paisa provided that the package is used during night time.
