NTB-CBI sign MoU

KATHMANDU: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI), a government agency of the Netherlands for trade and tourism, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The purpose of this MoU is to establish cooperation between the two parties to promote and market Nepal tourism sector in the European market and to contribute to the (social) marketing expertise of the NTB and tour operators in Nepal, as per a press release. Both the parties have agreed to cooperate and pool resources for capacity-building, training and research in tourism marketing related matters identified and agreed between parties. The MoU was signed by Sunil Sharma, officiating director of public relations and publicity at NTB and Anne Kempers, director of Asia department of CBI.
